Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. When you upgrade, you'll be charged the prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle. When you downgrade, the change will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your service will remain active through the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again.

Yes. Your first 1K conversion with 2 layers runs without an account, and you can download it: the rebuilt background plus one element layer, as transparent PNGs or a layered PSD. The 1.5K and 2K sizes, 3 or more layers and Auto need a paid plan or a credit pack.

The number of layers times the credits per layer for the size you pick: 5 at 1K, 8 at 1.5K and 10 at 2K. 2 layers at 1K use 10 credits, 5 layers at 1K use 25, and 5 layers at 2K use 50. The size menu shows the credits per layer, so you can work out the cost before you run it.

They are output size tiers. 1K is about 1 megapixel (a 1200×1600 upload comes back at 864×1152), and 2K is about 4 megapixels (1776×2368 for a 3:4 image). 2K is larger, not sharper.

The background counts as one layer. With 2 layers you get a rebuilt background plus one layer holding the separated elements: on a design with text over a plain background that gives you a base with the text removed, but on an image with a large subject it may lift out only the subject. Choose 3 or more to put text, subjects and graphics on layers of their own. The options are 2, 3, 5, 7 or 9 layers, or Auto (2 to 17). See the same flyer split at every layer count.

You can wait for your credits to renew at the next billing cycle, or upgrade to a higher plan for more credits immediately.

No, there are no hidden fees. The price you see is the price you pay. All features listed in your plan are included, and you'll never be charged anything beyond your subscription and any credit packages you choose to purchase.
